Women’s Ministry
Our Ladies’ Ministry strives to keep the church informed of our mission opportunities, mentoring our younger women, and supporting the other ministries of the church.
Music is an important part of worship - bringing our praises before the Lord to honor His majesty and grace. Led by our choir, our entire congregation joins in as we lift our voices to the Lord.

Our Men’s Ministry seeks to strengthen the bond of leadership among the brothers of the church, and fulfills many service opportunities.
Our ministry to Seniors – which we call “Forever Young” seeks to provide fellowship and service opportunities for our older (but not old) members. One of our most fun groups to join!
TAP – Teens Are Prime! Our ministry to teens seeks to lead them in discipleship, spiritual growth and service. Coming together for weekly study and fellowship, they learn to TAP N2 Jesus!
KICKS! Kids In Christ’s Kingdom is a ministry to younger children from kindergarten thru 6th grade. Through Bible study, fun events and various activities they learn to work, share, and serve others.
The New Salem Baptist Church “WEE-Care” daycare & Mother’s Day Out programs are very well-known and respected in the community. As a result, we stay fully booked most of the year. For further information about the programs and availability, contact our church office at 256-518-9328.
